Lindsay is co-founder of the Curren Group and a creative artist in her own right. She’s also an advocate for gardening and producing food in cities. That’s where two of her interests came together. To celebrate Virginia’s Urban Agriculture Month 2014, she committed to producing a handmade print for each day of the month.
Her project, “31 Days of Urban Agriculture,” actually called for 33 prints — one for each day of the month, plus a title print along with another print displaying the full text of the resolution of the Virginia General Assembly that originally established this observance in 2013.
She needed a website to promote her campaign on Kickstarter.com to raise more than $10,000 to cover materials and other expenses to complete the series of prints and mount a couple of exhibits, including one at the Virginia state capital.
The site needed to convey some of the excitement of the print series as well as show off her professionally done video.
