An online store helped Gendler’s serve more customers in the Quad Cities area of Illinois and Iowa while expanding its market outside the area.
The Curren Group developed a website for Gendler’s that would also host its sister businesses, a restaurant and a bar. The site houses the Gendler’s online wine store through an e-commerce system both powerful and easy to use. It also host a blog to keep its customers coming back again and again that Gendler’s publishes about two times a month with events, education on wine, and more.
The marketing director of the three family businesses was comfortable with technology and eager to do more online, so the Curren Group gave him extra training beyond the content of the site. We also showed him how to deal with security, add new features and troubleshoot. As a result, the three businesses have been able to spend less on traditional advertising while reaching more customers and keeping better touch with them.
